We publish numbers we can’t take back. Every hour, our instrumented pilot hectare reports its own performance — and some hours, the honest number is negative. We keep improving and calibrating the algorithm and the sensor hardware in public, and we are expanding the sensor infrastructure beyond the pilot.

We did not research this thesis. We survived it — operating a real forest through the carbon market’s trust collapse: the audits, the rating wars, the buyer silence. Every conviction on this page has a scar attached. That is why the rules are simple: slow promises, fast data. Fieldwork before slideware. Documentation that survives audits we don’t control.

And we are raising the bar on ourselves: before the next independent audit, we will publish our own predictions — timestamped and hash-anchored — of what the auditors will find. Then we publish how close we came. We predict our own audit. No one can fake that, and no one can out-transparent it.
